SUMMARY:2026 Shamrock Run
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nEach year\, the Shamrock Run draws thousands of participa
 nts and spectators\, with more than 2\,300 runners completing the 2-mile c
 ourse down Broadway from Academy Green to the Rondout.The event is proudly
  family-friendly\, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages\, strollers\,
  and first-time participants who want to enjoy a festive\, non-competitive
  community run. Families are encouraged to dress in green\, bring signs\, 
 and cheer along the route!\n\nThe race will start at 12:50PM sharp\, with 
 our annual Shenanigator\, Nadine Ferraro\, firing the starting cannon.\n\n

  Hoek Memorial Award:  This Award goes to the non-school Team with the l
 argest number of registrants.  Your Team will appear in the drop-down men
