The Hooley is Happening Again!

Hooley Schedule

Hooley Schedule

Each Labor Day weekend for the past fifteen years Kingston’s Rondout Waterfront has been transformed into what has become the Hudson Valley’s largest Irish festival and this year will be a continuation of that tradition. Every year more performers and vendors participate and the crowds seem to get bigger. The festival is focused on being an event the entire family can enjoy and performances will include traditional Irish entertainment: Step Dancing, Traditional Music, among others. Vendors will present their wares from Irish jewelry and crystal to food to please any palate. There will also be children’s activities throughout the day such as:

  • Face Painting
  • Cookie Decorating
  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Photo Booth

This year, you can even take in some more Irish culture the day before the Festival by watching a Gaelic Football & Hurling Clinic and Exhibition Match at Dietz Stadium on Saturday at 1:00pm which should be a real treat for sports buffs.

The Hooley on the Hudson XVI™ 2017 Irish Festival is sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Father Con Colbert Woulfe, and Division 1 Ulster County in cooperation with the City of Kingston.
