Forrest Yoga was developed by Ana Forrest over 40 years ago. It is a deeply physical and internally focused practice. Through deep breathing and strengthening poses, it teaches students how to clear out stuck tension and emotions from the body. It is known for it’s ability to help students with injuries, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and everyday stress.

What to expect in a class:
-Unique abdominal work
-Back, shoulder, and neck therapy
-Strength building sequences
-Breath awareness
-Hands-on assists from Denise
-Modifications for healing and preventing injuries

Denise has been teaching for over a decade in NYC and now the Hudson Valley, He teaching style is clear and direct. She brings her love for heart-felt touch into her classes. Denise is also a Forrest Yoga Guardian teacher (teachers chosen to carry on the lineage of Forrest Yoga). For more info.
