Featured Poets – Janet Hamill & Donna Reis
Janet Hamill is a neo -surrealist poet whose work has been compared to Baudelaire, Breton, Neruda and Rimbaud. Hamill is the author of 7 collections of poetry and short fiction: Knock, Body of Water, Lost Ceilings, Nostalgia of the Infinite, The Temple, and Troublante. She has released two CDs of spoken word and music. She is the founder and co-founder ofCitizens Foundation in Sugar Loaf, NY
Donna Reis’s debut poetry collection No Passing Zone, published by Deerbrook Editions (December 2012) was nominated for a pushcart prize. She is co-editor and contributor to the anthology Blues for Bill: A tribute to William Matthews (Akron poetry Series 2005). Her non fiction books Seeking Ghosts In the Warwick Valley published by Schiffer publishing Ltd 2003., has sold nearly 3000 copies. She is the author of 3 books, and her work has been published in numerous anthologies, journals.
