Please join us on October 11, 2018, 7 to 9 pm, for a panel discussion about Life Above the Store involving four current residents of Kingston who grew up living above their families’ businesses. Participants include: B. C. Gee, who grew up above her family’s Chinese Laundry in Durham, N.C.; Annemarie Harms, who grew up above her family’s German restaurant in Town of Esopus; Joseph Cohen, who grew up above his father’s sporting goods store on N. Front Street; and, Mariel Fiore, who grew up above her mother’s clothing store in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The panel will be moderated by Lynn Woods freelance author, journalist and co-creator of the documentary on Urban Renewal, “Lost Rondout: A Story of Urban Removal. Check for panel updates.
