LCollective is an avant-garde chamber ensemble from Brooklyn featuring Teodora Stepančić (keyboards), Jesse Greenberg (glockenspiel/metal objects), Assaf Gidron (sinetones), and Douglas Farrand (trumpet, taps, detritus). From different countries and backgrounds, LCollective shares a commitment to programming and performing music that they love in open, inclusive and collaborative settings. We value art that creates spaces for intimate and introspective experiences and brings people together to explore new ways of participation and organization.
Sarah Hennies is an avant-garde percussionist and performance artist, dealing with trans and queer identity, sociopolitical and psychological issues, and psychoacoustics. She is currently teaching at Bard.
Michael Bisio is an upright bass player; a veteran figure in the free jazz and free improv worlds, having collaborated with the likes of Matthew Shipp, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Joe McPhee, Charles Gayle, Whit Dickey, and Ivo Perelman.
Gary Lindorff is a poet, dream worker, and therapist, integrating Jungian approaches. He lives in Vermont with his wife and two cats.
