Come aboard lantern-lit Solaris for this special after-dark program. Explore the river by searchlight and listen to legends and lore of the Hudson River from the pages of Washington Irving or straight from newspaper headlines of centuries past.

About Solaris
Built by the Hudson River Maritime Museum’s restoration crew under the direction of Jim Kricker, Solaris is the only solar-powered boat in operation on the Hudson River. It does not require fossil fuels to operate. The tour boat can accommodate up to 24 passengers (actual capacity reduced due to COVID19) and is available for public tours and private charters.

What to Wear
Please dress for the weather. It can often be up to 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so we recommend a light jacket or sweater on cooler days.
