2019 Fall for Art

Date(s) - 11/07/2019
5:00 pm-8:00 pm

Fall for Art, an annual juried art show, sale and fundraising cocktail reception, hosted by the Jewish Federation of Ulster County, celebrates its 23rd event on Thursday, November 7th from 5:00-8:00pm at The Chateau, 240 Boulevard in Kingston, NY. Selected area artists representing a wide range of artistic media (including: painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood and mixed media) will be present to sell and talk about their work. As a new addition to this year’s fundraiser, two local galleries have been invited to exhibit alongside this year’s juried artists: Cross Contemporary Art and Emerge Gallery. The Federation, which in 2019 marks 40 years of community service, supports area not-for-profit organizations including the Hudson Valley Food Bank, Family of Woodstock, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), People’s Place, Angel Food East, Jewish Family Services, as well as scholarships for local students and the Federation. Reservations for the November 7th event are $50 in advance ($55 at the door) and reservations will be available in September at: www.fallforart.org and at the Federation office at One Albany Avenue, Suite G-10 (the Governor Clinton building) in Kingston, NY.  There is still time to become a Fall for Art Sponsor, Patron or Friend as well and to be listed in the event booklet. Photo images of artwork to be featured are available upon request and are available at the www.fallforart.org website. There is also information at Fall for Art’s facebook page (www.facebook.com/Fall.for.Art/) and on Instagram (#fallforart_2018).
